Free shuttles and expanded GO service announced for Grey Cup Sunday in Hamilton

GO Transit and HSR teamed up to ensure those attending the 108th Grey Cup at Hamilton's Tim Hortons Field can get there with ease.

Fans attending the 108th Grey Cup at Hamilton’s Tim Horton’s Field this Sunday (Dec. 12) can hop on a free shuttle and enjoy expanded services from GO Transit.

GO and Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) teamed up to offer a direct route to the game ahead of the 6 p.m. kickoff.

Westbound GO trains will be arriving at West Harbour GO throughout the day. Fans with tickets to the game can board free HSR shuttle buses to Tim Hortons Field, every 10 minutes, starting at 3:30 p.m.

The stadium will be open to fans starting at 4 p.m.

GO Transit and HSR are teaming up to get fans to the 108th Grey Cup

There will be signs at West Harbour GO directing fans to the shuttle buses. Staff will also be on-site to help.

GO Transit is also adjusting its train service to help fans get home after the game. The last scheduled eastbound train trip of the night will depart West Harbour GO at 11:32 p.m., making all stops to Toronto’s Union Station.

Post-game the green line will be prioritized to ensure customers can connect to the last departing train at West Harbour GO at 11:32 p.m. The other shuttles will continue to run until all customers using transit are served, with a target completion time of no later than 12 a.m.
