UPDATE: ALL APPOINTMENT FOR FREE ANTIGEN TESTS AT BROCK UNIVERSITY HAVE BEEN BOOKED. NO NEW APPOINTMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER FEBRUARY 11.

St. Catharines residents will have two chances this week to pick up free antigen tests, both times at Brock University.

However, residents will have to pre-register (link below) if they want one and it’s strictly on a one-per-person basis.

They will be available in the Ian D. Beddis Gymnasium on the campus at 1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way on Thursday, January 13 and Friday, January 14 with both sessions starting at 9 am.

Anyone without symptoms or who has not recently been in contact with someone with  is eligible to receive a free take-home rapid antigen test kit from this pop-up site, being arranged by the Province.

The usual safety standards apply. If you would like to access free rapid antigen tests at a pop-up covid 19 testing holiday site, remember to:

  • wear a face covering and follow the public health measures on-site at all times
  • bring assistive or accessibility devices if you need them
  • dress for the weather if the pop-up site is located outdoors
