Youth can show off their skills and sharpen their game with free after-school basketball at rec centres in Brampton.

The City of Brampton is hosting drop-in basketball for teens and youth at select community centres starting in May and running until mid-June.

The free after-school program is open to youth between the ages of 10 and 17 and runs on most weekdays from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the following City facilities:

  • Cassie Campbell Community Centre
  • Gore Meadows Community Centre
  • Save Max Sports Centre
  • Susan Fennell Sportsplex

And while youth are free to drop in, the City says registration is recommended and can be done online using a City of Brampton Recreation account.

Participants are required to bring their own indoor shoes but all other equipment will be provided.

The program runs until June 24 with a full list of dates and locations available online. For more information or to register for free after-school drop-in basketball visit www.Brampton.ca.
