A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a fourth Brampton elementary school.

St. Daniel Comboni Catholic Elementary School, located at 120 Veterans Dr., near Mississauga Rd. and Sandalwood Pkwy. W., now has three active cases of COVID-19 and two classrooms are shuttered.

An outbreak is declared once Peel Public Health determines it was likely a case of COVID-19 was passed on in school or while on school transportation.

There are three other Brampton elementary schools still on the outbreak list: Edenbrook Hill Public School, Harold F. Loughin Public School and Our Lady of Providence Catholic Elementary School.

A closed classroom means all the students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.
