Pizza delivery driver assaulted and robbed in Pickering

Four unidentified suspects are wanted after a pizza delivery driver was attacked and robbed of his car and cash.

The victim was up near Dersan St. and Brock Rd. in northern Pickering shortly before midnight on Mar. 24. He was then struck in the head from behind with an unknown weapon, according to Durham Regional Police.

The suspects stole his car and cash and fled. However, the car was found a short time later. The victim was treated in the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are trying to identify the suspects of the robbery.

The first is described as a brown man with curly black hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, a dark multi-coloured jacket and ripped jeans.

The second suspect is described as a brown man between 22 and 23 years old. He was clean-shaven and wore a black toque, a colourful jacket and grey pants.

Police describe the third suspect as a white man between 20 and 25 years old. This one wore a red and cream coloured jacket with a hood.

Finally, invesitagtors say the fourth suspect was a brown woman aged 18 to 22. She stands roughly five-foot-six and was wearing a black crop top, black pants, a black jacket with a hood and a silver belly button ring.

The quartet was last seen in a white SUV of unknown make and model.
