Four people found dead in home in Souther Ontario

Four people have been found dead inside a home just outside the small town of Harrow in southwestern Ontario, near Windsor.

OPP said in a news release issued Friday morning that officers were called to a county road home at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. They subsequently discovered the four victims inside the house.

OPP report that no official cause of death has been established and that there is no threat to public safety. However, authorities still urge area residents to remain vigilant.

Police said a full forensic report will be conducted at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in London.

Authorities added the ongoing investigation will be a joint effort of the Essex County OPP Crime Unit, the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and the OPP Forensic Identification Services.

According to OPP, the investigation is in its early stages and Harrow residents can anticipate a large police presence in the coming days.
