Four injured, one seriously, in bus crash on Dundas St. in Burlington

A driver whose vehicle struck a full school bus this morning on Dundas St. in Burlington was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

The collision shut down Dundas St. W. between Brant St. and Kerns Rd. for several hours beginning around 8 a.m.

Three of the students on the bus were taken to hospital for precautionary reasons, but none of their injuries are considered serious.

According to Halton police, the male driver who struck the bus had to be extricated from his vehicle by Burlington Fire Department.

There were 19 students and a driver on the bus at the time of the collision.
