Four Ajax teenagers were arrested after allegedly running from the cops in a stolen car with a .22 calibre ‘pen’ gun inside.

The teens were driving down Salem Road on March 16, according to the OPP, when they were spotted by officers. They sped off from the area, sparking a police chase.

Toronto-based OPP officers caught up with the group and learned the car had been reported stolen. The four teens were all charged with possession of stolen property and various other offences.

During a search of the teens, one was found to have a ‘pen’ gun on him and was charged with multiple weapon offences.

The FBI describes such weapons as a “single-shot gun with a safety notch, and it is designed to be carried in a pocket, semi-concealed from prospective targets.”

The pictured model appears to feature a spring-loaded firing pin to fire its single shot.
