Fort Erie pair charged after 3 area break-and-enters in one night

A Fort Erie pair have been charged in connection to three separate break-and-enters all overnight on November 2 in the same area.

Police were called to three separate Fort Erie locations after break-ins occurred at two different seasonal homes in the Dominion Road and Beachview Avenue area, as well as the former Rose Seaton Public School on Emerick Ave.

They quickly identified two suspects and raided their home last night (November 9). Once in, they found property from all three break-ins, as well as tools, copper pipe, a 12-guage break action shotgun for which neither suspect had a valid firearms licence. See photo below.

Mark Haney, 44,of Fort Erie has been charged with three counts of break and enter, possession of a firearm without holding a licence, possession of a unauthorized firearm, careless storage of a firearm and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Pamela Saxon, 37, of Fort Erie has been charged with three counts of break and enter, possession of a firearm without holding a licence, possession of a unauthorized firearm, careless storage of a firearm and possession of stolen property under $5,000.has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Both are being held in custody pending a bail hearing today (November 10) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
