With a huge assist from the Fort Erie Diversity and Inclusion Coalition, Mayor Wayne Redekop will be hosting a “Mayor’s Forum on Diversity and Inclusion” next month.

The forum, being held Nov. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Erie Leisureplex (3 Municipal Centre Dr.), is being held “to effect change and foster inclusive spaces in our community.”

“Fort Erie is a community for everyone,” said Redekop.

“Bringing the Mayor’s Forum to life will provide a transparent opportunity for diverse groups to join, discuss, and learn from each other about the benefits of embracing diversity and providing an environment of inclusion in our community. I encourage you to participate in this critical conversation.”

The forum offers a platform for participating in panel discussions, keynote addresses, and networking opportunities. Attendees will leave with “actionable insights, a broader network of colleagues, and a renewed commitment to encouraging positive change” in their respective businesses, organizations, and communities.

There will be keynote speakers, panel speakers, live performances, and a full lunch prepared by local chefs. Tickets are $50 and can be found here.
