Forge FC Hamilton to host summit ahead of Women in Sports match vs. Pacific FC at Tim Hortons Field

The first of what is expected to be an annual summit hosted by Forge FC has been scheduled for Oct. 5, 2022.
The Spark Summit “aims to connect professional women in sports business and inspire conversations around fostering gender equity in sports, while also shining a light on those who are leading the way across all sectors of sports business,” according to the Canadian Premier League soccer club.
The event, hosted by CBC host and producer Jacqueline Doorey, will take place at Tim Hortons Field in the City Lounge from 5 to 7 p.m.
Panellists include Olympic Medalist & Sports Media Executive Deidra Dionne, One Soccer and CBC sports broadcaster Andi Petrillo, and McMaster University football coach Taylor MacIntyre.

The event is open to the public. Registration can be completed online. $10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton and Halton.
Attendees will be given opportunities to network before and after the panel discussion and question and answer period.
Forge FC will take on Pacific FC in a special Women in Sports match at Tim Hortons Field following the summit.
