Forge FC Hamilton re-sign Mo Babouli for 2021 CPL season

Forge FC Hamilton announced Tuesday (Mar. 2) that Canadian forward Molham Babouli will return to the team for the 2021 season.

Babouli, 28, made 14 total appearances for Forge FC last year, including 10 in CPL play and four in Concacaf League, registering two goals and three assists overall.

He originally joined the team in August 2020 and was part of the club’s Canadian Premier League championship run last season.

The 5-8 attacker previously appeared in 20 matches with six starts for Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC in 2016. His professional playing experience also includes stints with the Syrian Premier League’s Al-Ittihad SC Aleppo (2017-18), and League1 Ontario’s Sigma FC (2017) and Toronto FC II (2015-16).

Babouli, who was born in Al Ain (United Arab Emirates) and moved to Mississauga, Ontario when he was three, represented Canada internationally at the U-23 level at both the 2015 Pan American Games and 2015 Concacaf Olympic Qualifiers.
