Premier Doug Ford will share his government’s plans to help build up Brampton when he comes to town for a fireside chat next month.

The Brampton Board of Trade is hosting an evening with the premier on Dec. 1, which will feature a keynote address from Ford and a sit down with Brampton Board of Trade Chair Daniel Lewis.

The board says Ford’s speech will cover “the work that his government is doing to build up Brampton and create a pro-growth environment for local businesses,” with a focus on manufacturing, building growth-enabling infrastructure and initiatives to tackle a shortage of skilled workers.

Brampton Board of Trade members can get a price cut on tickets for the event, with admission for a single member starting at $59 or $449 for a table of eight. Non-members can purchase tickets at $89.00 for a single entry or $699 for a table.

The event is being sponsored by Sheridan College, Toronto Pearson Airport, and the Canadian National Railway and runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the Millennium Gardens Banquet Centre located at 20 Polonia Ave in Brampton.
