For third day-in-a-row, just one new COVID-19 case in Niagara Region

Is Niagara Region closing in on the day when they can announce zero new COVID-19 cases?

For the third day-in-a-row, Niagara Health announced just one new case. With four cases being resolved, that drops the region under 50 active cases with 49.

Continued vaccinations in Niagara now see 70.3 per cent of the population above 12 years old having received their first shot while 60.7 per cent are fully vaccinated.
