Is a “Zero New COVID-19 Cases Day” in Niagara Region on the near horizon? It hasn’t happened yet in 2021 but the region is certainly coming close.

For the second straight day, the Region reported just one new COVID-19 case and three resolved cases, dropping the active cases in the region to 47.

It’s also inching closer to the record-low 44 active cases set last week in Niagara.

For the third straight day, four municipalities within Niagara all had zero cases within their boundaries – Niagara-on-the-Lake, Fort Erie, Wainfleet and Port Colborne.
