For the second consecutive day, Niagara Region records just one new case of COVID-19

For the second day-in-a-row, there is just one new reported case of COVID-19 in the Niagara Region today (August 3).

With two cases being resolved, that drops the active case in Niagara to 52, inching closer to the record low of 44 during the last week of July.

The percentage of fully immunized residents nudged up 0.1 per cent to 60.4.

There are still zero active cases in the Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet communities while the leaders, St Catharines and Niagara Falls, each resolved one more case, dropping to 15 and seven in their respective cities.
