Where?Qoola is located inside Square One Shopping Centre on the upper level beside Laura Secord.  New to Square One, it is the only self-serve frozen yogurt place inside of the mall.  Since frozen yogurt is a great walk-and-eat treat, the yogurt bar is designed in-out style with minimal seating.
Where: Asian Wok 'n' Roll -- a resto that's changed hands and names more than once -- sits in an oddly laid-out plaza right at Derry and Airport.
Where: The brand spankin' new section of the beloved Square One food court houses such higher-end quick-service gems are Chipotle, Shanghai 360 and Amaya.
Where? In an age-old plaza at Dundas and Winston Churchill you'll find Thai fusion resto Ben Thanh. Ben Thanh is a chain, but don't let that deter you -- the selection is incredible and the food is consistently good.
Where?Behind the new Sheridan college campus are the new Limelight Condominiums.  These condos house a few new businesses including Mediterranean Village that, despite being new, is already at the top of my list for a quick meal.
Where?Located in south west Mississauga in a strip mall off of the QEW and Erin Mills Pkwy is a non-chain Mexican Burrito joint called Senor Burrito. This Mexican joint has a small dining area - a perfect spot to pick up a quick bite to eat.
Where?Located in an unassuming strip plaza on Dundas between Tomken and Dixie is a unique sandwich shop (especially for Mississauga) called Holy Smokez BBQ Sandwiches. It's unique because we really haven't seen much BBQ style joints in Mississauga.
The Verdict? This is a great deal for lunch with about 20 choices for $7 or less -- and that includes your meat and a choice of steamed or veggie fried rice. We ordered the chili chicken lunch special, and let me tell you that we should have paid more attention to that little chili pepper graphic beside this menu item. It had an awesome kick to it.
The Verdict? This Ten for Ten menu is one of the best lunch deals in the city based on the quality of food and the upscale restaurant atmosphere. It's a great place for business lunches. This Ten for Ten menu has everything from Catfish to Boar Chili so it has a little of everything from everyone.
Where? Located in the North West end of Mississauga by the huge Royal Bank building off the 401 is a "non-chain" restaurant called Union Social Eatery. The restaurant has an airy, open concept feel with a bar lined with large flat screen TV's that's on centre stage. It is the ideal spot to catch a game and have a pint. The lounge area is to the right and the dining area to the left. Today we popped in for lunch.
