To celebrate the launch, they’ll be at Ken Whillans Square on Saturday, March 25th to hand out copies of the new guide and serve up some grub from a wide variety of food trucks, with dining domes set up to enjoy your food in.

The event is geared towards everyone who loves food and fun, with live music, games, and children’s activities – there’s something to do for guests of all ages.

From noon to 9 p.m., residents can enter fun food giveaways and listen to live music played by DJ Jonathan Shaw, who will bring his unique mix of R&B, soul, calypso, reggae, hip hop, rock, house and dance music.

That’s not all for entertainment – try your hand at life-sized versions of popular games like Giant Jenga, Giant Tic-Tac-Toe and more, or visit the photo booth to get your picture taken.

At 4 p.m., residents can meet in front of Segovia Coffee Shop in Garden Square to take the Beyond the Plate walking tour, featuring artist Meegan Lim and her illustrations of Brampton’s favourite dishes, which will be displayed on storefront windows. Those who register for the tour can reserve a voucher to be spent at the many food trucks at Ken Whillans Square.
