Food products, cold and flu medications, and kids hoodies recalled in Mississauga and Brampton

Health Canada reports that multiple products have been recalled from stores in Ontario this week (Dec. 20 to 26) due to potential health and safety risks, including stores in Mississauga and Brampton.
Residents are advised to check if they have these products at home and avoid using or consuming them out of caution.
The following products are affected:
Tandoori Oven brand Chicken Kebab
Risk: The product is being recalled due to misleading allergen information.
What you should do: Recalled food products should be returned to the store where they were purchased. If you think you became sick from eating a recalled product, contact your doctor.

Certain Fresh Express brand salad products
Risk: Possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick with symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
What you should do: Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased. If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.
Multiple cold and flu powdered medications for adults and children 12+
Risk: The products are being recalled because the company could not demonstrate that products remain safe and of good quality until the expiry date. In addition, multiple lots had active ingredients, such as acetaminophen, that were not in the amounts listed on the product label.
What you should do: Stop using the recalled products. Talk to your healthcare provider if you or your child have taken a recalled product and have health concerns.
Urban Kids Girls Funzietime Character Hoodies
Risk: Drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear may become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in entanglement.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring and toggle from the waist of the hoodie, by cutting both sides of the cord, to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may return the product to an Urban Kids Store for a refund.
KOYO Bounca the Squig Limited Edition Plush
Risk: The pom-poms may become detached from the plush toy, posing a potential choking hazard to young children.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact a Games Workshop or Warhammer location for information on how to obtain a full refund or store credit.
L&P Apparel Inc. Girls Mid-Season City Jacket
Risk: Drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear may become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the waist of the jacket to eliminate the hazard.
Urban Kids Plush Critter Robes
Risk: The products do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear of the Children’s Sleepwear Regulations, posing a burn risk.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Children’s Plush Critter Robes and discard, or return to Urban Kids for a refund.
Risk: The blade on the lawnmower may become detached and fall off during use, posing a risk of injury to the user or bystanders. As of December 15, 2021, the company has received 1 report of the blade detaching in Canada.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lawnmower and return to a Costco warehouse for a full refund.

Risk: Drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation.
What you should do: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the children’s upper outerwear to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may also return the item to the store of purchase for a refund.
