A food delivery company has announced major offers for the summer in Canada.
Skip said that it has launched “Summer Savings — a nationwide campaign helping Canadians save on everything from weeknight dinners and everyday essentials to concerts and sporting events.”
The first perk comes when a customer places an order on Skip. They will receive a free Skip+ membership for the summer, which is $9.99 per month in value and comes with $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, among other perks, the company said.
Other offers that are part of the Summer Savings campaign include:
- 50 per cent off select restaurants like McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, and Popeyes, plus 30 per cent off every Blue Jays regular season game day
- Savings are tracked in the Skip app, which builds towards rewards
- Reaching milestones results in perks including:
- Skip gift cards, vouchers for select restaurants, and extended Skip+ membership rewards
- WestJet points, the chance to win all-inclusive vacation packages to Cancun, Blue Jays tickets or jerseys, or $200 in Live Nation concert cash
“Summer is when Canadians want to say yes to everything – more road trips, more concerts, and more time with family – but we know those moments can add up quickly,” said Rachel MacAdam, the vice president of marketing at Skip.
“Summer Savings is our biggest value commitment yet to help Canadians stretch their dollars further.”
The campaign began on June 30 and runs until Sept. 7.
