Food court ‘transformation’ with modern upgrades coming to Brampton mall

Shoppers at Bramalea City Centre can expect a fresh new look at the south food court once a multi-million dollar renovation is completed.

BCC says it’s starting on upgrades to the food court on Thursday with plans to transform the space with a contemporary, airy aesthetic and enhanced accessibility for shoppers.

The major overhaul promises a sleek, modern design for “an enhanced dining experience” with the grand reveal scheduled for 2026.

“This renovation reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the visitor experience at BCC,” General Manager Andrew Butler said in a statement. “By modernizing our food court, we are ensuring it remains a vibrant and welcoming space where our diverse community can gather and enjoy a variety of dining options.”

The upgrades will be completed in a phased-roll out with construction starting this week. To limit disruptions, BCC says food vendors will remain open with most construction taking place after regular shopping hours.

Designed by Pappas Design Studio Inc. and built by Govan Brown Associates Limited, BCC says the upgrades “will create a more enjoyable and seamless dining experience for BCC visitors.”

Regular project updates will be shared through BCC’s social media channels.

The grand reveal of the new food court is scheduled for next year.
