Orange Julius closes square one

A food court staple has closed down at Square One in Mississauga.

It’s the end of an era for the Dairy Queen/Orange Julius location that was situated beside KFC inside the popular shopping centre’s food court.

A representative from Square One told insauga.com that the location closed recently.

While some people may be wondering whether it will be moving to another place in the mall, the same representative said that as of now, the location has simply closed.

The popular spot has been a food court staple for decades and those who frequent Square One may remember it being their go-to for a treat or quick snack.

From ice cream options to smoothies and, of course, the signature Orange Julius drink, many people will be sad to see it go after being a staple for more then 30 years.

So, what exactly will be taking its place?

Well, the same representative from Square One told insauga.com that there is no information available about what will be replacing it, so for now, locals are encouraged to stay tuned.
