Flooding closes rural Hamilton road, police warn streets are starting to ‘overflow’

Flooding has closed a portion of Sulphur Springs Road in Ancaster Thursday morning (Feb. 17).
The City of Hamilton is warning motorists to avoid the roadway, between Mineral Springs and Governors Road, which has been closed as crews respond to the situation.
Hamilton Police, in the meantime, is urging drivers to use “extra caution” as urban and rural roads have “started to overflow with water.”
