Tracy Fleury and her Manitoba rink capped off a perfect run at the Oakville Labour Day Classic with a come-from-behind win in the final.
Fleury and her rink of third Selena Njegovan, second Liz Fyfe and lead Kristen MacCuish rallied from a 7-4 deficit to defeat Charlottetown’s Suzanne Brit, 8-7, in the final at the Oakville Curling Club.
Fleury grabbed three in the seventh end and then stole a single in the final end to complete the comeback and grab their $7,000 share that goes to the champions.

Brad Jacobs and his Sault Ste. Marie rink went unbeaten on the men’s side, finishing the perfect run with an 8-2 win over Kingston’s Jonathan Beuk, who was being skipped by Tanner Horgan, in the final.
Team Jacobs, which includes third Marc Kennedy, second EJ Harnden and lead Ryan Harnden, scored five in the second end leading to the teams shaking hands after just four ends.
The Sault Ste. Marie Rink collected $6,000 for its win.
Fleury and Jacobs have already both qualified for the Canadian Olympic Trials in November.
Great curling action returns to the Oakville again next weekend with the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard.
