FLASHBACK: Brampton’s Cyril Clark library branch opened 36 years ago today on shores of Loafers Lake

It was 36 years ago today, Sept. 21, 1985, that the Cyril Clark branch of the Brampton Public Library system opened.

Located in what was then the outer reaches of Brampton, near the shore of Loafers Lake, the library made sure prospective visitors knew they could get the latest records and cassettes as well as books on tape, magazines and newspapers.
