Flags lowered at Milton Town Hall in honour of Queen Elizabeth II

Flags at Milton Town Hall and other facilities have been lowered to recognize the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“It is with heavy hearts, #MiltonON joins the world in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Flags at Town Hall and all Town of Milton facilities will be flying at half-mast in her memory. Our thoughts are with @RoyalFamily,” said the Town on Twitter.

As Britain’s longest-reigning monarch of 70 years, her loss will be felt around the world.
“We are grateful for her record-setting length of service to Canada and the world,” said Mayor Gordon Krantz in a statement.
“The flags at Town Hall and Town of Milton facilities will be at half-mast in her honour.”
