Five people arrested after breaking into Gucci store at Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills

Police have arrested five people after breaking into the Gucci store at Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills.

According to police, at approximately 12:40 a.m. on July 30, 2021, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to an alarm at the Gucci store located at Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills. 

Police say five suspects smashed the front window to gain access to the store.

Officers arrived on the scene and located the suspects in a vehicle in the plaza parking lot, according to police.

Police say when officers approached the vehicle, all five occupants exited and fled on foot. 

With assistance from the K9 Unit, Tactical Rescue Unit and 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau, police say uniform officers were able to arrest all of the suspects in the area of the plaza.

As per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the five arrested parties will not be identified. They are all facing charges of Break and Enter and all accused parties were released on an Undertaking.
