Five Niagara Falls residents charged after police seize over $66,000 in drugs

A search warrant on a Niagara Falls home yesterday (January 10) saw five people charged as the Niagara Police seized over $66,000 in narcotics, cash and ammunition.
Police raided the home in the Drummond Road and Monroe Street area after a month-long investigation that dated back to December 2022.
In total,officers recovered 606.9 grams of suspected fentanyl, 27.9 grams of suspected cocaine, and 2.2 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine with a street value of $66,720.
Detectives also seized $580 of suspected crime cash, 30 rounds of shotgun ammunition and a prohibited switchblade knife.
Jimmy Alan Carson, 36, of Niagara Falls has been charged with three counts of possession of an illegal firearm, possession of stolen goods under $5,000, possession of a restricted weapon, two counts of trafficking, four counts of failing to comply with probation, six counts of failing to comply with a release order and possession of crystal meth.
Alexis Scarfo, 20 years, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of a restricted weapon, two counts of trafficking and possession of crystal meth.
Marcel Ludger Labbe, 56, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of a restricted weapon, two counts of trafficking and possession of crystal meth.
Jennifer McRae, 48, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of a restricted weapon, two counts of trafficking and possession of crystal meth.
Leonard Nicholas Lech, 35, of Niagara Falls has been charged with possession of a restricted weapon, two counts of trafficking and possession of crystal meth.
The five were all being held for bail hearing scheduled to take place later today (January 11) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
