With one resolved case today (July 22) but five new COVID-19 cases discovered in Niagara Region, yesterday’s all-year-low of 44 existing cases got nudged up to 48.

The breakdown of the active cases is pretty reflective of the population distribution in the region as St Catharines leads with 18 and Niagara Falls follows with 11.

However, the other 10 municipalities within Niagara are all showing active cases of four or less.

And for the first time this year, one municipality – Niagara-on-the-Lake – actually has zero active cases.
