Five employees from two pharmacies in Brampton test positive for COVID-19

Five employees at two separate pharmacies in Brampton have tested positive for COVID-19.
On December 9, management of the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 10661 Chinguacousy Road was notified that three employees had tested positive for the virus.
The last shift each employee worked was on December 1, 2, and 4.
Also on December 9, management of the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 11965 Hurontario Street was informed two staff members had tested positive for the virus.
The last shift each employee worked was on December 3, and 5.
Loblaws, the parent company, says when a case is discovered, it works closely with public health officials and follows their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and to perform the required cleaning and sanitization in the stores.
