Five COVID-19 cases reported at licensed Burlington childcare centre

Five Burlington childcare centres or home childcare agencies are reporting active COVID-19 cases among children.

According to the Province of Ontario reporting site, the hardest hit is the Alton Village Before and After School Program at Alton Village Public School, with five. There are one each at Brant Children’s Centre, BrightPath Appleby, Kidlogic Burlington and YMCA Rolling Meadows SACC.

The reporting site was updated today at 10:30 a.m. with 18 new cases across the province.

Of the more than 5,500 licensed childcare centres in the province, 154 of them are reporting at least one case and 18 of them are closed.
