First Glance Into Holt Renfrew Coming to Square One

Holt's is coming to town and we couldn't be more thrilled!

According to the Toronto Star, Holt Renfrew announced on Wednesday that its Sherway doors will be closing to make way instead for the opening of Saks Fifth Avenue.

Luckily for Mississauga, Holt's is relocating the luxury store to our home base in Square One later this year - and best of all, the new location will be almost four times the size of Sherway's location at approximately 120,000 square feet.

In true luxury fashion, Holts has left no stone unturned. Architects Janson Goldstein LLP have gone to all lengths to ensure the luxe retailer's interiors are just as posh as the items being sold within it. The new Square One location will be the fourth largest in Canada, and faces a hefty competition with the likes of American high-end specialty stores Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue on their way to Sherway Gardens.

Along with Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Manolo Blahnik (and an endless array of posh designers), Holt's will also introduce the first ever Tiffany & Co. concession to Mississauga.

Valet parking will also be available (because let's face it, the Square One parking lot is a nightmare and if you're shopping at Holt's you can probably afford valet), as well as services like a master tailor, shoeshine and concierge. Then, when all of your luxury shopping needs come to a close, you'll be able to make your way over to the 2,000 square foot Holt's Cafe for an upscale bite to eat.

What do you think is the best part about having Holt's come to Square One?
