First annual Halal Food Fest in Milton happening this weekend

The first annual Halal Food Fest in Milton will be happening this weekend.
After nine successful years of the Mississauga Halal Food Fest, Team Universal is bringing the festival to the Town of Milton.
The festival will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Milton Community Park, located at 805 Santa Maria Blvd.
The event will feature food trucks, BBQ, live music from a well-known international artist, entertainment for kids and a marketplace with clothing and decor.
Attendees will also be able to experience Mango Fest.
Admission to the event is free.
