Firefighters knock down house fire in Brampton

Firefighters are still on the scene after a house fire in Brampton on Friday (April 14).
Just before 2:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police say emergency crews were called to a home near the intersection of Hindquarter Ct. and Hardcastle Ct. in Brampton.
Police initially said it was unknown if anyone was inside the house when the blaze began, but firefighters cleared the home and say it was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported and firefighters were still on the scene as of 3:30 p.m. to ensure the house would be safe for the occupants to return.
