Firefighters knock down blaze at commercial building in Brampton

Firefighters are on the scene of a blaze at a commercial building in Brampton.

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) say crews were called to a property in the area of Goreway Dr. and Queen St. East shortly before 11:00 a.m. on Monday (May 15).

A photo shared by BFES shows a fire truck parked outside a loading dock with its aerial ladder extended and firefighters on the scene.

No injuries were reported and BFES said crews brought the fire under control, but firefighters are on the scene making sure the fire hasn’t spread.

Firefighters are currently operating at a commercial property fire in the area of Goreway Drive and Queen Street East. The fire is under control and crews are checking for extension. No injuries reported. ^NR @ChiefBoyes @BPFFA1068 pic.twitter.com/HKvTH0Cp66
