Firefighters douse evening blaze at Mississauga highrise near Square One

A high rise in Mississauga’s City Centre near Square One caught fire early Wednesday evening (May 1).
Mississauga Fire and Emergency arrived on the scene of the blaze at the 350 Webb St. apartment and discovered flames and smoke coming out of a 15th floor apartment window at around 8 p.m.
Fire crews quickly got the fire under control and had subdued the flames as heavy smoke poured out the window of the apartment.
No injuries have been reported.
