Firefighters battle blaze at commercial building in Brampton

Emergency crews worked to knock down a blaze that broke out at a commercial building in a Brampton industrial park.

The fire call came in around 6 p.m. on Monday when firefighters with Brampton Fire & Emergency Services said crews were dispatched to a commercial property near Torbram Road and Highway 407 in Brampton.

A picture shared by BFES showed a large building with its bay doors open as firefighters and one firetruck with its ladder extended worked to control the blaze.

No injuries were reported due to the fire and BFES says everyone inside the building was safely evacuated.

It took crews around two hours to get the fire under control, and BFES thanked Peel Paramedic Services and Peel Regional Police for their assistance.

BFES has not said what led to the fire breaking out or the extent of the damages.
