Firefighters attending to structure fire in Hamilton

First responders are attending to a fire in Hamilton.

On Wednesday (February 24) evening, responders with the Hamilton Fire Department were called to a structure fire at 143 Sherman Avenue North.

According to the Hamilton Fire Department, the fire is on the second floor and extending towards the roof area.

Crews are expected to be on scene for a while, and residents are encouraged to avoid the area.
