UPDATE: Fire truck and transport crash at a busy intersection in Brampton

One man was injured after a Brampton Fire truck and a transport truck collided at a busy intersection.
The collision happened around 7:40 a.m. today (April 22) at Steeles Avenue and Kennedy Road in Brampton, Peel Regional Police told insauga.com.
Police say three vehicles were involved in the crash.
One man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Both the fire truck and transport truck were damaged in the crash.

The intersection was closed and police asked people to avoid the area.

Update: At 11:37 a.m. police said the intersection had reopened.
