Fire in Brampton quickly extinguished with no reports of injury

A fire late this morning (July 7) in the Rutherford Road North and Kennedy Road North area of Brampton saw the Brampton Fire Department respond quickly.
One house was “fully engulfed (in flames)” reported Peel Police while nearby residents were quickly evacuated.
Within 40 minutes, fire fighters had the flames extinguished. Peel Police said there were “no reports of injuries at this time.”
They added that “some area residents are able to return to their homes (but that) segments of Buckland Way continue to be blocked off.”
