Fire Crews Investigating Smoke at Brampton Arena

Emergency crews are currently on scene investigating reports of smoke at an arena in Brampton. 

Emergency crews are currently on scene investigating reports of smoke at an arena in Brampton. 

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., Peel police announced that Brampton Fire and police were on scene at the Chris Gibson Arena on McLaughlin north of Queen to respond to reports of smoke in the main building area. 

According to Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, the smoke was caused by a fan belt in the vent system. 

No injuries or damage have been reported.
