UPDATE: Police say the road reopened to traffic by around 1 p.m.
Fire crews were battling a blaze in Caledon Monday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the fire on Mayfield Road, Caledon Fire and Emergency Services said in a post on X Monday at 8:14 a.m.
A spokesperson for Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed to INsauga.com that paramedics were called to the scene on standby, but no patients were treated or transported to hospital.
Mayfield Road was closed between Humber Station Road and Coleraine Drive as of 8:30 a.m.
Emergency crews asked people to avoid the area if possible.
