Fire causes significant damage to a Mississauga home

A fire significantly damaged a Mississauga home last night.
The fire broke out in the basement of a semi-detached home on Tassel Crescent in Meadowvale yesterday (April 17) around 8 p.m., Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services tell insauga.com.
All the occupants were able to get out of the home safely and there were no injuries reported.
The fire spread from the basement and caused smoke damage throughout the home. But crews were able to stop it from spreading to the neighbouring, attached home.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
