Fire breaks out in Mississauga, heavy black smoke at the scene

Crews are on scene for a fire in Mississauga this afternoon (Sept. 25).

Mississauga Fire is reporting a possible hopper fire at a commercial property in the area of Bren Rd and Rena Rd near Torbram (west of Pearson Airport).

Heavy black smoke was reported inside the building.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Residents should avoid the area as crews work on extinguishing the fire.
