Fire at empty Brampton townhome leads to morning road closures

Morning road closures are in effect in Brampton as fire crews battle a blaze at an empty downhome that appears to be under construction.
Brampton fire crews are battling a blaze at an unoccupied townhome at Financial and Lower Thames drives.
Officials received the call just after 6:20 a.m. on Thursday.
Peel Police tweeted that the home appears to be under construction, generally increasing the presence of flammable materials and exposed wood.
No injuries have been reported.
Financial is closed at Lower Thames to Mississauga Rd.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
