A fire broke out at a Costco in Burlington on Sunday morning.
Burlington Fire responded to reports of a compactor fire at the rear of a Costco store located on Brant Street at around 11 a.m.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), user Graham Paine said that fire crews were on scene with smoke showing and flames visible from the compactor area.
It’s reported that light smoke entered the store and sprinklers were activated.
The building was evacuated as firefighters worked to access the compactor and contain the blaze.
It’s unknown whether anyone was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
