The final summer antique market is on this month in Mississauga.

The Sunday Antique Market was, as the name suggests, on Sundays but this summer the market moved to Saturdays at the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga.

The historic Small Arms Inspection Building hosts the Lakeview Farmer’s Market on Sundays until Oct. 29.

So the iconic antique market, formerly at St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, held two Saturday events.

The “grand finale” of the summer Saturdays is Aug. 12 before the market returns to a regular monthly market on Saturday, Sept. 9, according to a press release from the Sunday Antique Market.

“We’re excited to host the final event of our Summer Saturdays at The Sunday Antique Market,” said Marlene Cook, the event organizer. “These special summer events have given both our loyal customers and newcomers a unique opportunity to indulge in the thrill of antique hunting on Saturdays.”

More than 70 vendors from Ontario and Quebec are at the market with everything from mid-century modern furniture to chic fashion pieces to rare collectibles.

Capital B Bistro will also be open offering pastries and refreshments.

The Sunday Antique Market on Saturday, Aug. 12 runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Small Arms Inspection Building, 1352 Lakeshore Rd. E.

Admission and parking are free.
