Final property tax bills to be mailed to Milton residents this month

The Town of Milton is reminding residents that final property tax bills are being mailed out this month.
The Town has issued a reminder that installments are due on June 30 and Sept. 29.
According to the Town, taxes are calculated based on a 12-month period regardless of occupancy date.
Additionally, they do not include in-year adjustments resulting from supplementary, omitted or appeal activity.
Residents are encouraged to use the Town’s Property Tax Calculator to view their annual tax levy as well as to see the breakdown of where their tax dollars go.
The calculator, which can be found on the Town’s website, is a tool that may be used to further understand the breakdown of where tax dollars go and see their annual tax levy.

The Town’s website also enables residents to see its current and past tax rates and a list of common property tax fees.
