Film shoot will shut down area in east Hamilton

Celebrity-watchers, though maybe not so much motorists, may be curious to see filming taking place in an area of east Hamilton this week.

Graham Avenue South, between Maple Avenue and Main Street,  will be closed for filming over three days at the following times and dates:

• Tuesday, June 6 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 7 from 6 a.m to 11 p.m.
• Friday, June 9 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.

The City of Hamilton did not specify what movie or show was being filmed.

“We don’t publicize upcoming film shoots out of respect for the privacy and security of residents in the neighbourhood,” said Kim Adrovez, acting manager of the city’s Creative Industries and Cultural Development department.
