This year’s Festival of Trees has officially begun at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC).

From now until Dec. 17, the centre’s sixth annual festival will be lighting up the lobby with festive decorations to get the community into the holiday spirit.

The festival will feature artificial Christmas trees, donated by Canadian Tire – Burlington Stores and sponsored by local businesses, each of which will be available to win as a prize in a silent auction.

Tree viewing times will be Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The minimum bid for trees is $10, with bidding ending on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8:00 p.m. All proceeds from the auction will support BPAC.

Winners will be contacted by email or phone and will be able to pick up the trees on Monday, Dec. 19 and Tuesday, Dec. 20. Entrants must consent to sign up for the mailing list to be eligible.
